Open Shelving Installation
When we first started designing the kitchen at #flipmagnolia, we’ve included an option for open shelving above the sink. The design involved white cabinets plus a white countertop. So, in order to warm up the space we needed to add a few contrast elements to the design plan. And we achieved that by adding matching wood shelves and a waterfall wood countertop as well as bold accessories in black and gold.
I found these sweet steel brackets while browsing Instagram one night and I knew it would work so well for our open shelving design. I immediately fell in love with the clever hook shape and its sleek design. The steel J brackets are made by hand and provide a strong and secure design for the floating shelves.
When we paired the brackets with the light fixture and black faucet, everything fell into place.
