Large Size Flower Arrangement
A visit to the florist sent me home with lots of beautiful foliage for autumn-inspired arrangements. The constant need to make something with my hands is a great way to support my creative soul. When I am styling a room, creating a DIY project, or putting together a flower arrangement, I get in a state of flow. Time stands still. And the possibilities become endless.
Sometimes you are just drawn to things. And at my last visit to the florist, I was drawn to light shades of purple from the Misty Blue trimmings, and the soft green hue of the Eucalyptus Gunnii. I mixed these two cuts with the vibrant Tree Fern and added a few deep red-colored branches for contrast.
To create this floral arrangement, I started by using floral tape to make a grid on my vase. This helps divide the composition into different sections and it is also great to hold some of the branches in place. I like to start adding branches from the outside and work my way toward the center of the vase. There are no rules to follow here. I find that arranging these pretty cuts is more of a trial-and-error case. And for me, that is the beauty of this process.
