Setting the Christmas Table – Styling with Patchi
The best last-minute Christmas table setting I have ever done. As soon as we landed back from our trip to Park City, my mom reminded me that I was part of the décor committee for Christmas Eve. Let me be clear here. There’s no such thing as a real décor committee or any committee at all. After all, by definition, a committee would involve more than one person working together. But in this case, I am always flying solo.
Christmas Eve will be celebrated at my parents’ house as usual. Do you remember the huge dining/ping pong table we made for my parents a couple of years back? Well, it is on that very table that we will gather around to sip, eat and be merry.
In additional to the usual 15 family members we have every year, this year we also have 5 Swedes coming to Virginia to celebrate with us. So we will have a total of 12 adults plus 8 kids. The table is set and the food smells so good! Now to wait until tonight to celebrate.
