I love adding unique design pieces to a space. When choosing the finishing elements for the primary bathroom at #casacancado, I focused on materiality and textures. From the concrete towel hooks to the custom burlap artwork, each piece featured here has its own purpose. In some places, a design element will blend in creating a calm dialogue, and in other places, a featured element will stand out guiding the eye to a focal point.

This quiet artwork I created on a Sunday afternoon adds great visual interest to this muted bathroom. Without this focal artwork, the room feels incomplete. The color and texture of this custom piece help to give the neutral aesthetics of this bathroom a pretty booster.
