I challenge you to be very meticulous when it comes to light fixtures. I find that this sculptural element can be such eye candy in any space. It's like the cherry on top of that delicious ice cream.

The shape and overall feel of a light fixture should follow the aesthetics of the space. Playing with size and color is also fundamental. An oversize light fixture will draw attention and can become the focal point. When the idea is to have a light fixture that blends in, selecting colors that work well with other elements in your room will help to create a unified look.
