Ways to Save on Your Bathroom Remodel
So, you decided to start your bathroom renovation, but you desperately want to save on cost. Before you think this was a bad idea, here are a few ways to save on your bathroom remodel.
1- Add new floor tiles
Tiles make a world of difference. When I first started designing this bathroom remodel, the idea was to leave the old floor tiles in place. The good thing about tiles is that you can spend as much as you want or as little as you need and still get a new look. So after we were able to source these pretty tiles plus labor at a great price, we decided to go for it.
2- Browse the web for the right vanity and faucet
Upgrading a vanity and faucet is not a though change. Nowadays there are many pretty options online. Here, the IKEA vanity was paired with a bold black delta faucet.
3- Paint those walls
Painting is the easiest way to upgrade any space as you can see from the before photo above.
4- Accessorize
You can really elevate the bathroom by using great accessories such as pretty sconces and mirrors. We shopped for our sconces at Etsy. There are a lot of good and affordable options there.
We didn’t spend money on the shower. This bathroom features a built-in shower kit. And even though that didn’t change, this place is a completely different space.
This bathroom is almost completed and I will do a full reveal here soon. Send me a message with questions on how I can help you and your bathroom.
