The finishing touches can really make an impact in any renovation. When designing the hallway bathroom for #casacancado, I wanted to try as many new materials and finishes as I could. I wanted to pick things that scared me a little because I not only saw this project as a much-needed upgrade for the house, I also saw it as a great opportunity to grow as a designer.

One of my favorite details in this space is the towel hooks we got from Alice Tacheny. These pretty hooks are made of concrete and come in five different colors. For this bathroom, I wanted to tie in the hooks with the pretty gray marble countertop. It’s a subtle detail. But I like how it elevates that blank wall.
