About five years ago, we planted a small Crape Myrtle tree in our backyard, hoping this tree would provide some much-needed shade. While we appreciate the shade, it’s the Summer blossom show we look forward to every year. After this morning’s pouring rain, the tree looks pretty droopy, and yet pretty magical.

Have you been foraging your yard these days? Greenery is a great way to add color and texture to your setting. I also find it to be therapeutic for me. A moment alone clipping away and then playing with vases.
