The new layout features a colorful rug for the living room to bring more color into the space. We are pairing the red rug, with a striped rug for the landing area. Instead of doing a runner size for the landing area, I changed it to a 5 by 8′ size to frame the landing area better area. I am adding a pedestal table near a 48″ long storage bench. These two elements plus the mirror help to create a purposeful corner without adding clutter. The look still feels chic and casual.

The 3D rendering below helps in giving you an idea of scale for all the new elements selected. Let me know what you think about these pieces.
I also wanted to share another option for large rugs that are super affordable. The following rugs below achieve an aged look through printed construction. I have one at my house, and you are welcome to stop by to see the look and feel. We could use these as another option for the living room rug.
Bedroom Items
For the bedroom, we eliminated the bench in front of the bed. Below is an option for nightstands in oak veneer. I like them because of their soft tone. The light wood from the nightstands will contrast nicely with the wood from the bed frame. And the leather pulls will tie in with the leather headboard. I have also included a small stool for that corner area. The corner area will feature a floor mirror plus the stool.

Outdoor Items
For the outdoor design, I am recommending planting Hollywood Junipers along the new fence. Exterior spotlights from the ground illuminating the live fence would be a nice touch as well. The three-seater sofa has a powder-coated aluminum frame and a Batyline mesh. The Adirondack chairs are Moisture-resistant solid mahogany and solid eucalyptus wood with a wire-brushed surface. By not using sofa or chairs with fabric pillows we will be able to minimize maintenance. I have also added two concrete/fiberglass side tables to complete the design. For the firepit, the one you see below is 150,000 BTU. Their round version is 290,000 BTU. Please send me your option so I can compare it as well.
