Outdoor Fireplace
The beautiful outdoor fireplace at #project_casapiscina is such a sculptural feature in this space. This design feature has a double duty here because tucked behind it is all the pool equipment. The truth is that what started as a solution to hide the pool equipment became the main character in this composition.
I love the early stages of a project, and I love to discover solutions. The pool equipment near any pool is always such an eyesore. So when it came time to design a wall that would cover the pool equipment, we combined beauty with function. We not only created a pretty screen, but we also made it function as a fireplace.
To achieve this look, we worked closely with a masonry company to build a box around a stainless steel outdoor fireplace insert. The crew from Pinnacle Mansory was amazing and super easy to work with. Their experience and talent are evident in this project.
We chose the vent-free linear fireplace measuring 60 inches long. Once they framed the fireplace insert with cinder blocks, we used stucco for the finish. The color we chose is “frosty white” from Sherman Williams.
