Making a Fall Wreath
What a time of the year, right? The Fall season is such an amazing time when things slow down a bit just before the Holiday rush. The leaves transform and put on a dance, and you can smell new things in the air, from the smoke leaving a chimney to the scent of candles lit inside the home.
To celebrate this magical season, I put together a wild-looking Fall wreath using tree fern, eucalyptus, wax flower, misty blue, and grevillea. As a visual person, I love to add small changes to my environment to change the energy a little. And these different textures and colors were the perfect subtle change I had envisioned. Can a challenge you to give it a try?
Are you a crafty person? I realize that trying to create something with your hands or being crafty is not something that feels natural to a lot of people. But all it takes is practice. Your first DIY wreath may not look like you intended, but you will get better as you keep practicing. Lean into your mistakes and learn from them. Maybe the foliage could have been cut shorter, or maybe you needed to add more foliage. Adjusting the wreath as you go is part of the fun. After all, beauty is not supposed to be complicated. So have fun with it.
