A Simple and Inviting Guest Bedroom – Tour the Room
Is it perfectly simple, or perhaps simply perfect?
Today we are sharing our latest guest bedroom design we did for #clientkoko. Following the design aesthetics of the house, this guest bedroom décor is simple and yet inviting. The tight color palette plus streamline furniture make this a timeless space.
The only existing furniture we had to work with when designing this room was the queen size bed. We decided to flank the bed with two very simple but very beautiful metal-looking night stands. Each nightstand features a modern golden lamp. It’s true that mixing up metals can be tricky. However, sometimes, combining different metals and textures is all that a room really needs. Don’t you think this silver and gold combo make the best looking pair in this space?
Across from the bed, a massive 6-drawer dresser in dark and gray colored wood is the perfect complement to the rest of the room. This dresser ties the whole room together and helps to balance the space.
The big vintage map of Brazil is by far our favorite moment in the room. The initial idea was to place the map above the bed, but since it is such a long piece, we had to come up with plan b. The large wall next to the bed was our next choice. It turns out that having the map on its own wall made the map even more dramatic.
We are now moving our design tools to the master bedroom, and we can’t wait to finish it off. But with the holidays on the calendar, I think this project might be done in twenty nineteen. Oh, and talking about calendars, message us about joining our list of clients because we really, really want to design more rooms. To learn more about our design services visit us here.
