Who doesn’t like a beautifully wrapped gift? Having nice wrapped gifts under the tree is the finishing touch to perfecting the tree decor.

To me, decorating gifts during the holidays is a great creative outlet. However, I like to make it as simple as I can, while still making it special. December can be a crazy month but I find that a little preparation goes a long way. Here are a few tips for pretty wrapped gifts that don’t add too much to your plate.

1- Pick a few wrapping papers that look good together. Once I am set on my color theme, I choose three to four patterns that go well together.

2- Add an element that ties everything together. The green twine here is repeated from one box to the other, which helps in making them look good as a group.

3- Add something special. Greenery or special photos are a great way to make each box more special. I have used these square photos as Christmas ornaments as well as a table setting. And I love how personal they look on these gift boxes.
