And that is why I loved how Lauren avoided useless details in order to focus on each material in the room and the beauty around them. The color palette chosen makes the room feel big and full of light. I love the feel of this room, from the soft color to the furniture and the different textures surrounding it.

We’ve asked Lauren to be a part of our #trendypeasstories and here is what she had to tell us:
“This postpartum journey has not been easy every day for me. It was really rough toward the end of the first week when my adrenaline dropped and the physical pain and emotions of it all, set in, along with my weakness and exhaustion as I battled mastitis & recovered from hemorrhaging. There was a day where I did nothing but cry. I say all that because so many people struggle with roller coaster emotions after having babies and so many of us just see the smiles and newborn snuggles because who really has the energy to post anything on those hard days. I want you to know if you’re struggling, that it’s okay and this too shall pass. There’s light on the other side, and although I know we will have hard days ahead, as we learn how to take on the ups and downs of parenthood, I’m so glad I’m now enjoying all the cuddles, funny faces and personality of our little Oliver Wilde. He brings us so much joy and I couldn’t do it without my Husband who’s been my actual rock!”
