When designing for #project_goingheights, the hallway that connects the living spaces with the bedrooms provided me with a big challenge. This narrow space was too bland and too long. To elevate the look of this hallway I carefully curated pieces that could make a big statement. I brought in a sculptural console, two bold artwork pieces, and a long rustic runner to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The combination of three elements transformed a rather boring space into a focal area that now leaves a lasting impression.

1. The Power of a Sculptural Console:

A console table is more than just a functional piece of furniture. Here, it serves as a focal point, drawing your eyes to this scene and making a bold statement. When selecting this console, I consider the style and material that best complemented the overall theme of this home. The iron top with the distressed finish helps bring some character and warmth into this long hallway. I also like the contrast of this piece against the white walls.
