Dining Room Makeover
It's time to gather around the dining table and celebrate this beautiful time of the year. The holiday season is a time for connection. A time to count our blessings. And it can also be a time to make all things pretty.
Here, this new dining room space is now ready to begin all the celebrations. The project completion timing was just right.
We paired a mid-century dining table in walnut with blue velvet dining chairs. It’s the perfect mix of comfort and style. We chose a rug with an elegant but minimal design to frame the area. Above the dining table, a linear and sculptural pendant light takes center stage.
The mixed tonal wood sideboard is framed by two white ceramic sconces creating a focal wall. We have large and small artwork throughout the space. We mixed the different object scales, wood stains, metal, and colors until we created a beautiful dialogue between all the pieces. The creative process to get all these decorative items to work in harmony was a long one. But the long journey was rewarded by the finish line.
