To help create a wow factor in this room, I designed two large plastered artworks. It was really fun to create these two large art pieces specifically for this room. I was able to pick the right colors and sizes I needed for the room. Between making the artwork and framing it while working on other projects, it took me about two months to finish these pieces. But it was all worth it. I really feel like these two new pieces help ground this room so much more now than what we had on that wall before.

In this family room at #casacancado, the heavy brown leather couch is the anchor, while the two large artworks that float on that tall wall are the main focal point. There is no clutter here. I could say that I have edited out the mess, but I never welcomed clutter in the first place. By stripping away all the unnecessary, I created a relaxed yet composed living space with little distraction. A space that invites you in and allows you to breathe has beautiful energy.
