The Freakishly Good Tile Selection
I spent two months picking bathroom tiles for the beach house because, well, I may be a perfectionist. The hunt for these tiles has been exhausting. But the final selection is freakishly good, and I am definitely calling this process a win.
Bathroom design is tricky, oh-so tricky. There are so many different elements to consider. And when designing multiple bathrooms for a single home, you have to find a way to make them all work together cohesively. Achieving this balance can be tough, especially when you have time and budget constraints.

The tile selection for the beach house bathrooms has been one of the most challenging parts of the entire renovation process. I must have looked at hundreds of tile options before choosing the perfect ones. But it was all worth it in the end because the selection is kinda gorgeous. I am mixing porcelain tiles for their affordability and durability with a few sexy and timeless zellige and cement tiles because every girl deserves that spa vibe, right?
The bathrooms will be floored with zellige and cement tiles while most walls will be covered in porcelain. The zellige tiles have minor variations in color and size giving the final composition a more organic feel. The 4×4″ neutral cement floor tile creates a soft palette for bold green porcelain tiles.
