Oh, Give me All the Pretty Light Fixtures
The beauty of online shopping is that you get to find lots of cool and unique little shops plus a ton of great designers. While we continue our slow progress at #flipmagnolia, I am happy to report that some things seem to be moving at a decent speed. Last week Raquel and I sourced many materials for our house flip. We have tiles for the kitchen backsplash, kitchen floors, and bathroom floors. All of the kitchen cabinets have been delivered. Not to mention, the gorgeous brass cabinet pulls we got in the mail two days ago. And now, after unpacking a big box full of pink peanuts yesterday, we’ve also got three very pretty light fixtures.
When we started our search for mid-century looking light fixtures, we ended up finding our favorites fixtures on Etsy. The pretty fixtures you see below are from MODCREATIONStudios. Located in Columbus, OH, MODCREATIONStudios, specializes in mid-century style light fixtures. They have over 100 styles to choose from and their price is affordable.
This black and white fixture will go above the upstairs bathroom vanity. The floor tiles will be black and the shower tiles will be white subway tiles. For the vanity, we chose a light-colored wood vanity topped with a double white sink. Can you picture it?
This brass beauty will go in the half bath downstairs. We’ve decided to keep the half bath plan very minimal and simple. But this light fixture will help give this room a little jazz moment. We plan on having a custom built vanity with a white quartz top, a white sink, and a brass waterfall faucet.
Lastly, but certainly not least, this 3-lighting piece will go in the kitchen above the sink. We revealed a little bit of our kitchen plan here. Take a peek to see how this fixture will tie in with the rest of the pieces that we have.
